Sugar pink and cheerful, the large tubular flowers topped with a plump pink dome never fail to lit up a border.
Awarded a RHS award of garden merit, this is a good plant to group, with four or five planted together to create a fizz in the sunny part of your border.
Growing to maybe 1.5m or 5ft, they bow down gently when carrying the large flower heads as if to allow you up for closer inspection.
Proved to be reliably hardy in milder winters down to -10 C
